From food-trucks to prestigious establishments, all tastes will be accommodated.

Pizza Del Popolo – €

Pizzeria del Popolo food truck

Because the food-truck Pizza Del Popolo puts the emphasis on quality rather than quantity, only six pizzas are available on their menu.

Starting at €7, the traditional Margherita will not let you down. The Melanzana and The Gorgonzola E Noci will enchant all vegetarians. And last but not least, the Regina Del Popolo and the Salsicella will charm even the finest palates.

The ingredients are all carefully selected: mozzarella fior di latte and smoked, nduja, organic eggplants and San Marzano tomatoes.

A pizza of the day, that changes regularly, is also available.

East Mamma – €€-€€€

East Mama was the very first trattoria of the Big Mamma group (established in Paris, Lille and London). This establishment is certainly not lacking charm, with its walls made of bricks and old stones, its wood-fired oven and its cosiness, all characteristic of Italian trattorias.

All ingredients are imported from Italy: the dough is fresh and made by hand and the wines are imported directly from the vineyards.

For the starter you can enjoy a wide range of antipasti, starting at €7.

Moving on you can choose between fresh pasta, Neapolitan pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven, salads and a carpaccio.

The Chef’s favourites are also available: the Tagliata Artichaude and the Pesce del Giorno.

With its 15 different pizza options – including some vegetarians – starting at €12, your happiness is a given.

Finally, what would be a feast without a sugary touch? Five delicious desserts are on the menu, starting at €7, including the Nocciomisù – a twist of the famous tiramisù with peanut mascarpone, caramel toffee and crispy puffed rice.

What a treat!

pizzas from La Massara

“Massara” was the name given to the women in charge of feeding the workers and taking care of the wood-fired oven in Sicilian farms. So it comes as no surprise that La Massara cherishes the transmission of the Sicilian culture, as well as the transmission of cooking.

The menu is extensive. As a starter, and starting at €6, sfizi, antipasti and bruschette are available.

As for pizzas, you have no less than 25 options, ranging from €9.50 to €17.50. You can choose between the classiche, the bianche, the special ones with mozzarella di bufala or the chef’s specialities.

Calzoni, salads and lasagne are also on the menu.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available for the starter, the main course and the dessert.

Papacionu – €€

Papacionu

When someone says “pizza”, do you automatically think “Italy”? Well, not always – as evidenced by this Corsican pizzeria.

Coming straight from Ajaccio, the restaurant bears the same name as the one opened on the island by the mother of the cook.

Nested in the rue Cadet, the restaurant does not lack character; nor do the half-moon shaped pizzas served on wooden trays.

You can choose to enjoy the Spuntinetta or the special Papacionu calzone, for example.

Corsican beers and wines are available.

Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.

The Brooklyn Pizzeria – €

Brick walls, couches shaped as American cars, metal pipes leading to an oven made of the same material: the New York vibe is strong in this pizzeria which claims to be the cheapest in Paris.

Then again, with a “Vraie Margherita à 4 Balles” (which would translate as “real Margherita for 4 bucks”), how could it not be?

The rest of the menu fits just as well with the mood of the place – relaxed and fun.

The pizzas are called Mbappé Hot & Spicy (Mbappé is a French soccer player), Les Dents de la “Belle-Mère” (a play on words with the French title of “Jaws”) and Vegan is the Way, just to name a few. All ingredients are fresh and imported directly from Italy.

Let the all Italian team take care of you – they know what they are doing!

Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.

Nested at the heart of the 5th district, the restaurant and its clean lines create an atmosphere of calm and peace. The secret? Pizzaioli chefs who put their hearts into their cooking and quality ingredients which will transport you straight to Italy with only one bite.

On the menu? Specialities from Sicily and the south of Italy, fresh pasta and pizzas, of course.

The most demanding gourmets can go for the Bell’Antonio (truffle cream, olives, taleggio, mozzarella fior di latte, cooked ham) whereas those with a voracious appetite may prefer the Crudaiola (tomato sauce, burrata, Parma ham).

Vegetarians are welcome.

Iovine’s – €€-€€€

It is at a walking distance from the Louvres that the Neapolitan chef Nicola Iovine decided to open his first restaurant.

The decoration of the room is elegant and in the kitchen the focus is put on creativity – but both are intertwined with tradition.

You can enjoy the Bronte if you are adventurous (pistachio pesto, mozzarella, mortadella, organic extra virgin olive oil) or the Burratissima (extra fresh Apulian burrata, small tomatoes from Vesuvius, San Marzano tomatoes D.O.P, basil, arugula, organic extra virgin oil) if you are more into the good old classics.

Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.

Daroco – €€€

The Daroco trattoria welcomes you in a scenery that will take your breath away.

The restaurant puts the focus on what they do best: only nine pizzas are on the menu but they are made with Cetara anchovies, fior di latte, San Marzano tomatoes and other high quality ingredients.

The owners did not forget their sense of humour though: you can order the Spider Cochon (the French name of the famous Spider Pig from The Simpsons) made of tomato sauce, fior di latte, spianata, flakes of Pecorino and basil or the Parma Show (the Palmashow is a French comedy duo) made of tomato sauce, mozzarella bufala, Parma ham and basil.

The prices range from €12 to €18.

No doubt you will find your match!

Pizza Chic – €€

With the cast-iron on the walls, the large windows and the hanging lights everywhere, Pizza Chic definitely is chic.

So is the kitchen: Italian flours and yeasts, fresh in-season ingredients and a dough left to rise for at least five days to ensure its softness, density and crispiness.

Only eleven pizze are on the menu, ranging from €14 to €22, but each one gives a new meaning to the word “chic”.

You may be attracted to the Pizza Chic (lardo di colonnata de Fausto Guadagni and rosemary) or to the Carciofi (artichoke cream, raw artichoke, arugula, parmesan aged for 24 months).

Vegetarians are welcome.

It is in this old bird shop that these pizza lovers decided to open their restaurant.

Their motto? Simplicity, authenticity and dedication.

Buffalo mozzarella from Campania D.O.P, organic extra virgin olive oil, black pork from Caserta, San Marzano tomatoes D.O.P, Piennolo from Vesuvius and Corbarino: all ingredients are imported directly from Italy and there are a lot of them.

You can choose the traditional flavour of the Margherita with San Marzano tomatoes, but only if you have some room left after the Pizze Fritte, a speciality from Vesuvius.

This cosy Italian bistro, elegantly decorated with a Nordic touch, will amaze you with its pizzas classiche and bianche. Whether they are one or the other, they are reunited as one on your plate according to the season and the mood of the chef.

You can fall for the Massilia: half Puttanesca (cherry tomatoes, capers, olives, anchovies) and half Alexandra (mozza di bufala, parmesan, arugula, olive oil, lemon).

Or maybe it is the Bungabunga (spianata, mozza di bufala, artichoke, red onion) that will catch your eye.
