Discover this labyrinth in the heart of Paris, located 20 meters underground. Go down the 131 steps leading to Paris Catacombs and discover the largest ossuary in the world.

At the end of the eighteenth century, due to hygiene problems, bones were piled up underground.

Go for a walk of about 1.5 km, for 1 hour. Observe the bones organized in walls, such as rows of shins or skulls. Behind the facades, the remaining fragmented bones are piled up.

You will have the opportunity to see monuments like altars and tombs, such as the Lacrymatory sarcophagus.

Please note that the site is not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia or for the faint of heart, as the place can be stressful.
