The Place de la Nation ("Nation Square"), formerly known as Place du Trône (or "Throne Square") from 1660 to 1880, is located on the border between the 11th and 12th districts of Paris.
It marks the entrance to the Cours de Vincennes with the two giant columns of the Throne.
