There’s nothing better on a campsite than being able to enjoy a huge water complex located directly on site! In the Drôme department, many campsites offer swimming pools and water parks, but which campsite should you choose?
You will learn everything there is to know about it thanks to my selection of the best campsites with a waterpark!
If you are in a hurry, here are my recommendations:
- The biggest waterpark: Capfun Grand Lierne and Capfun Sagittaire
- The most diversified waterpark: Yelloh! Village le Couspeau
- If you don’t want a crowd: La Source du Jabron

With its many swimming pools and Spacebowl or Racer slides, the Capfun Grand Lierne campsite is like a real theme park.
For a campsite whose main attraction is its huge water park, it still shines by the quality of its accommodation. It offers mobile homes of many different sizes that can accommodate up to 8 people.
There is be on-site catering, a grocery shop and many quality activities.
Price: starting at 287 € for a 2 to 3 person mobile home

Campsite Le Couriou ****

Well-located next to the forest and with plenty of flowers, the Le Couriou campsite offers the peace and quiet of the countryside with comfortable bungalows and a very clean, functional and well-maintained water park.
You can choose between mobile homes and bungalows as well as classic pitches. There are many catering services on the campsite: it has a mini-market, a pizzeria, a snack bar, a restaurant, a bread shop, a bar, etc.
Price: starting at €612 for 7 days in a 2 person bungalow

Le Bois du Châtelas *****

The Bois du Châtelas campsite deserves the five stars for its facilities as well as the good maintenance and cleanliness of the site.
Although 5 stars, the campsite operates on a human scale, and the staff is attentive to all your needs. It offers chalets, mobile homes and spacious pitches in the shade of the trees.

Campsite L’Hirondelle ****

Some catering services are available on site, as well as many activities and shows.

Once again, Cap Fun campsites are not to be outdone when it comes to their waterparks,. this one is even open to the outside public. Don’t worry, one of the heated outdoor pools is for campsite guests only.
This time located in the south of the Drôme, this campsite offers a wide range of rental accommodation such as gypsy caravans, classic mobile homes as well as small original chalets.
Price: starting at 364 € for 7 days in a 4 person caravan

La Source du Jabron skilfully mixes a friendly family campsite with the requirements of a 4-star campsite. You can see this in the care taken in the upkeep of the site, and particularly its waterpark.
What makes it special? It is an ecological campsite that offers wooden accommodation such as mobile homes, large half-wooden tents and small chalets. These accommodations are designed to fit into the landscape and limit their ecological footprint.
The place is shaded because it is in the middle of nature and trees, and you will feel nothing but peace and quiet.

The Couspeau campsite has a well-equipped waterpark with numerous pools and water attractions.
In addition to the classic pitches, you will have a choice of accommodation among the tented lodges, the large original chalets and even the new feature of the site: a caravan.
You will be able to take advantage of all the various rental services of the campsite (bicycles, refrigerators, irons, etc), as well as the bar, restaurant, grocery shop and much more.

The Château de la Galaure campsite has a well-designed waterpark which is entirely outdoors.
As for the accommodation, you can choose between classic pitches, bungalow tents, mobile homes or fully equipped tent lodges, with plenty of space around the accommodation. You can enjoy the restaurant, the snack bar and the mini-market.
Many sports activities are available on site for the greatest happiness of children: tennis, archery, games room, Olympics, pony club and many others.
