The Cite Plantagenêt is the historic centre of Le Mans, representing over 1700 years of architecture with its half-timbered constructions and Renaissance homes. The Plan Lumière shows off a different face of Le Mans with illuminations that highlight the monuments of the city. Several pedestrian circuits are available to discover Le Mans, its historical vestiges, parks, rivers, its bocage and woodlands. Every year, the 24-hour race is held in Le Mans - this is an endurance motor race during which the two drivers take turns at driving day and night.
