The innovative touristic nonprofit organization «Paris Par Rues Méconnues», that accompanies French and foreign groups on strolls of urban discoveries, shares its knowledge and its conception of the districts, through animations and meetings with various local actors, it participates to the creation and the organization of cultural events on the Parisian territories, in connection with its partners. It contributes as much to the promotion of these districts image, as much as in their economical and cultural development dragging new customers.

For the Christmas Holidays, « Paris Par Rues Méconnues » plays Santa launching the event: « Arty Xmas » by Paris Par Rues Méconnues, in association with the artists, shop owners and craftsmen of Belleville such as Mr Laurent Demoncy, as well as our institutional partners (Paris City Hall, districts city halls, The ParisianTourism Office). With that special edition, « Paris Par Rues Méconnues » want to show its implementation into the local Parisian life.

Our goal is double; first: promote our unknown artists from Belleville, putting all lights on them from the public eyes and bringing them a wider audience with our institutional partners, second, helping them create some professional networking. This is the perfect occasion make everyone, tourist, politicians, people working in the touristic field, other institutions discover our vision of a sustainable development, a united and participative tourism for the community. Thought it is very avant-garde, this vision shows a human face, committed, a citizen and a volunteer aspect. Perfect reflection of "Paris Par Rues Méconnues", and of its commitments: audacious, positive and artistic.

To promote its territorial strong anchoring and its constant progress, was needed a place for able to fit "Paris Par Rues Méconnues» extravaganza. And “ Le Comptoir Général” new leading place for ecologically responsible events was to be the place, perfectly matching to their values of solidarity, social innovation, implication with the local actors with its strong ecological and ethical convictions, being incredibly open-minded when it comes to the artistic domain.

" Paris Par Rues Méconnues " invites you to come and savor the delicious petits fours brilliantly cooked in the purest Belleville tradition by The Pastry shop the “Pâtisserie de l’Eglise Demoncy-Vergne” during the cocktail party that will take place on Saturday, December 19th from 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm (on booking so please do confirm)
