On Valentine’s Day, couples can have their photograph taken at the Bazar de l’Hôtel de Ville, inside the store windows that are beautifully decorated for the occasion. The most original pictures will be published in a participating magazine. Inside the shop, a tree will accommodate all your love letters.

Henri IV at Fontainebleau. November 7th, 2010 – February 28th, 2011 in Fontainebleau
The Château de Fontainebleau curates the exhibition and the theme tour showing the key role Henry IV played in its construction and development.
The courtyards and gardens are open for the occasion. The exhibition brings together about a hundred pieces bearing witness to the great achievements of Henry IV’s reign at Fontainebleau.

The Middle Ages in comic strips. Angoulême, January 17th – February 18
The medieval towers of the old castle of the Count of Angoulême accommodate an exhibition depicting 100 years of medieval comic strips. French, Italian and Belgian pieces illustrate four themes. The exhibition is organized by a team of professional historians and archeologists who are committed to presenting the Middle Ages from an original point of view.
