The Galerie des Machines in Nantes from September 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 on the site of the former naval shipyards. Les Machines de l’île is an extraordinary and completely off the wall artistic project. The product of the lively imaginations of François Delarozière and Pierre Orefice, it can best be described as something of a meeting point between the "fantasy world" of Jules Verne, the mechanical creations of Leonardo da Vinci and the industrial history of Nantes. Visitors can enjoy discovering some impressive mechanical creatures, the fruit of more than 15 years’ know how.
