 Solidays will be held from 25th to 27th June at the famous Longchamp racecourse. The 2010 edition of Solidays has a fabulous line-up of live acts, with over 150 artists and 80 concerts to make even more noise to stop AIDS. Top artists and groups on the programme this year include Jacques Higelin, Diam’s, Oxmo Puccino, Revolver, Wolfmother, General Elektriks, Féfé, NERD, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ariane Moffatt, M, Archive, Vanessa Paradis, Ghinzu, Izia, Wax Tailor, Kasabian, Olivia Ruiz, BB Brunes and Hocus Pocus.

 “Jardins, jardin” (Gardens, garden) – at the Tuileries from 4 to 6 June 2010
For four days, the event becomes a place of creation, exhibition and promotion for professionals and amateurs alike, all looking to discover innovative solutions to turn cities green. "Gardens, garden" aims to develop the creativity of the various professions involved in making novel gardens, terraces or green areas, under a controlled ecology.

 The great fireworks display of Saint-Cloud at 10 pm on 12 June 2010
This is the largest fireworks display in Europe and the event of the year.
The concept is unique, featuring firework specialities from all over the world on a 400-metre façade with 3-tier ignitions. Enjoy this show, which lasts about 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the exceptional participation of François René Duchable on piano.

Lyon BD (Comic Strip) Festival from 18 to 20 June 2010
The Festival’s 5th edition will be even more creative and lively than ever, at the Palais du Commerce in Lyon. As for authors, the public will have the pleasure of mingling with celebrities like Lewis Trondheim, Franck Margerin or Olivier Schwartz among others. Pénélope Bagieu, Margaux Motin, Boulet will be there to represent the world of Blogs and virtual comic strips. Lyon BD has also organized a programme of fringe events throughout the city, as rich and intense as ever, from 7th to 27th June.

Carcassonne Festival from 19 June to 15 August 2010
The Festival will take place at various locations throughout Carcassonne, such as the Medieval City, Place Carnot, Hôtel de Rolland, Eglise Saint-Vincent, Jardin du Musée and Saint-Michel Cathedral. There will be over 110 shows in all, on 10 different stages, covering opera, dance, concerts, theatre and the circus.
