 Rock en Seine
Each year the Rock en Seine festival invites along a number of well known international artists. For this seventh event held on August 28, 29 and 30, more than 40 concerts are scheduled with the billing including Oasis, The Offspring, The Prodigy, Faith no more and many more.

 Cinéma au Clair de Lune, moonlit cinema from 5 to 23 August (13 projections, 13 venues, free of charge)
For three weeks, for its 9th edition, the Cinéma au Clair de Lune festival will be setting up its giant screens to show films under the stars in different places around Paris,...  Festival Paris from 1 to 31 August (2 to 5 performances a day, something for everyone…)
Take advantage of the August holidays to get a sneak preview of what's on in Paris's theatres this autumn!
Choose from 40 different shows, over 600 performances, there's something for all ages and all tastes. Tickets cost between 10 and 16 Euros, and four Parisian theatres are taking part in the operation.

Rencontres d’Arles Photographies festival ( from 7 July to 13 September )
With over 50 exhibitions installed in a variety of exceptional heritage venues around the city of Arles, the Rencontres d'Arles, every summer, and this year for the 40th year running, makes its contribution to the passing down of the world's photographic heritage, as well as providing a crucible for contemporary creativity, with the chance to discover talented young photographers.

Geo-poetic art in Pézenas ( until August 30th )
Emmanuel Flipo invites you into his workshop in Pézenas, between Béziers and Sète. You will discover his work, which is marked by his concept of the geo-poetic. From painting to collage, his creations evoke the natural elements and the effects of erosion over time. His workshop presents his works and at the same time is a veritable artistic creation in itself. A native of the region, he will share his own special vision of art with you and draw you into another world.

Feria of Béziers ( from 13 to 17 August 2009 )
On the programme of the Feria of Béziers: shows, concerts, dance, flamenco, song... Sangria-fuelled evenings between the bodegas and the casitas where the party atmosphere reigns supreme. The city's main square is transformed into a giant outdoor dance floor, bathed in a warm, friendly atmosphere blending the traditions of the Feria of Béziers with more modern trends, as all the generations come together to have fun.
