 Mangareva - Polynesian Pantheon
/ From February 3rd at Musée du Quai Branly
This exhibition features the only known works of art originating from Mangareva, a small island forming part of the Gambier Islands. It comprises around a dozen statues which have never before been shown to the general public. The exhibition provides an opportunity to discover a largely overlooked society and to introduce the world to the richness and uniqueness of this island culture.

 6 billion Others / January 10th - February 12th at Grand Palais Yann Arthus-Bertrand launched the "6 billion others" project in 2003. So far, 5000 video portraits have been produced in 75 countries. From Italian fishermen to Australian lawyers, all of the interviewees answer the same questions, including: "What have you learned from your parents? What do you hope to pass on to your children? or What does love mean to you?"
