The Parc Floral de Paris was laid out at the edge of the Bois de Vincennes in 1969. The Parc Floral has joined forces with 3 other Parisian parks to create Paris's botanical gardens. Discover the world of plants in the themed gardens: the Bonsaï garden, the garden of Mediterranean plants, the ivy garden, the medicinal plant garden... In the four seasons' garden, 1,200 varieties of hardy annuals flower all year round. The Butterfly Garden is home to more than 40 species, which spread their colourful wings from the spring onwards. Numerous activities are offered for young and old alike, ping pong tables, playgrounds, ball pits, rides on Bateau Mouche boats, a climbing wall... The Parc Floral also offers shows, theatre performances, concerts and two major musical events with the Paris Jazz Festival and the Festival Classique au Vert. You can also perfect your knowledge of plants and ecology thanks to 6,000 works in the book and play library.
