Pollock et le chamanisme Pollock and shamanism / Until February 15th at Pinacothèque de Paris The Pinacothèque de Paris exhibits an exceptional gathering of works Amerindian shamanism-inspired and abstract impressionist painter Jackson Pollock. With drawings and paintings drawn from Pollock's abstract and semi-abstract work, the exhibition shows how he felt about subconcious as an illustration of Indian rituals and shamanism.

Tournoi de Paris Ile de France Handball Paris-Ile-de-France tournament / January 10th and 11th at Palais Omnisport de Bercy The event for French handball no-one can miss will this year have a special 22nd edition: in addition to the celebrating to French olympic champion team, a special tribute will be paid to 3 players who retire from the national team, Olivier Girault, Joël Abati and Cédric Burdet.

Les Nuits Rouges The Red Nights (Les Nuits Rouges) / Until March 26th Val d'Isère Every thursday evening of the winter season, it is a special moment in Val d'Isère. Festival International du film de comédie Alpe d’Huez Comedy Film Festival / January 20th - 25th The Alpe d’Huez Film Festival, the first film festival in the year in France, is the only Comedy festival in the country.
