I paid a visit to Odette, a charming little pastry shop right next to Notre-Dame Cathedral. It\u2019s known for its cream puffs\u2014called \u201cchoux\u201d in French\u2014and its cozy terrace that feels like a hidden spot in the middle of Paris.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I saw, what I tasted, and why this place is worth a stop if you\u2019re in the area.<\/p>\n

When I went there on a weekday around midday, the terrace was almost empty. No big crowds, no long lines\u2014just a peaceful little corner where you could sit and enjoy the view.<\/p>\n

Even though I didn\u2019t visit the first floor inside, the outside seating was one of the calmest terraces I\u2019ve seen in Paris. It\u2019s partly covered, so even if it rains, you can stay dry while watching people stroll by.<\/p>\n

I bought a box of three cream puffs\u00a0 for \u20ac7.50, which is a good deal for Paris. The flavors I picked were citron (lemon), pralin\u00e9 (hazelnut), and vanille (vanilla).<\/p>\n

The cream inside was smooth, generous, and not too sweet.<\/p>\n

Everything tasted fresh and just right\u2014not heavy at all. My favorite was the pralin\u00e9 one, but honestly, they were all delicious.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t eat them right away. I saved them and went to Jardin du Luxembourg to enjoy them on a bench, surrounded by flowers and trees.<\/p>\n

It made the experience even better.<\/p>\n
