Do you think you have already visited everything in Paris? You don\u2019t know what to do anymore and you lack inspiration? Here are some ideas which will help you discover new activities and new places to visit in the city.<\/em><\/p>\n

Take a walk to the Coul\u00e9e Verte<\/h2>\n

Take a walk along the Coul\u00e9e Verte<\/a>, <\/strong>located at the core of the 12e arrondissement. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a decommissioned railway<\/strong> which used to connect the Bastille train station to the eastern suburbs.<\/p>\n

What is today the Coul\u00e9e Verte has been transformed by two architects and landscape artists in a walk in the heart of nature. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Several gardens were placed next to each other in this natural landscape like the Reuilly garden,<\/strong> well known for its hanging bridge<\/strong> or the Charles P\u00e9guy square. <\/strong><\/p>\n

During your walk, you will be able to see the railway\u2019s old structures <\/strong>which were left untouched.<\/p>\n

As of today, the bridge\u2019s 71 arcades <\/strong>now contain around 50 workshops. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Sail with Marin d\u2019eau douce<\/h2>\n

You can rent a boat which doesn\u2019t require a boat license <\/strong>to discover the city of Paris (again) from another angle.<\/p>\n

Marin d\u2019eau douce <\/strong><\/a>offers several rides.<\/p>\n

One of them is Paris insolite<\/a> (in French)<\/em>. <\/em>Sail on the Saint Martin channel <\/strong>and the Ourcq channel <\/strong>for 40km.<\/p>\n

You can also sail longer<\/strong><\/a> (in French) <\/em>for around 6 hours, from the Ourcq channel to the Sevran lock. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You will pass by the Crim\u00e9e bridge <\/strong>and will sail along the Parc de la Villette. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you\u2019re here, you can have a picnic in the Berg\u00e8re park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Other courses are available, with a small boat ride for children<\/strong><\/a> (in French). <\/em><\/p>\n

As young as 9 years old, alone or accompanied by an adult, <\/strong>little sailors can have fun with their journey on the water. Each boat can take 5 to 11 sailors. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to the Clignancourt flea market<\/h2>\n

Go to the largest antique market and the flea market, the world-known Clignancourt flea market. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This market spans over 3 hectares <\/strong>and contains more than 2000 market stands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can go there on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Fridays are for professionals.<\/p>\n

You can stroll among different market stands for several hours, and also discover old furniture or objects, and unusual objects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are also second-hand and worn clothes. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Take a dip in the Jos\u00e9phine Baker swimming pool<\/h2>\n

Have some fun at the Jos\u00e9phine Baker swimming pool<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>which is located at the step of the Fran\u00e7ois Mitterrand national library.<\/p>\n

This floating swimming pool<\/strong> is located in the Seine.<\/p>\n

Sports lovers <\/strong>can go to a pool for swimmers <\/strong>and enjoy a fitness space<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you want to have some fun<\/strong>, there are other pools. <\/strong><\/p>\n

To relax,<\/strong> you can use the hammam, sauna and jacuzzi. <\/strong><\/p>\n

When the weather is good, the glass roof is opened<\/strong> and you can use the deck chairs in the sun. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Check out the Statue of Liberty<\/h2>\n

There is a bronze replica of the Statue of Liberty on the Cygnes island<\/strong> in the 15e arrondissement. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This statue has been made at the same time as the original.<\/p>\n

France was offered the statue for the hundredth birthday of the French Revolution.<\/p>\n

In order to see it, go to Cygnes island.<\/p>\n

It is an artificial island <\/strong>which is one kilometer wide. It is the smallest island in Paris. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You can take a walk in this quiet green scenery. <\/strong>While you\u2019re there, you can also picnic. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Visit the Chinese district<\/h2>\n

Visit the Chinese district in the 13e arrondissement<\/strong> bordered by the \u201cChoisy Triangle\u201d.<\/p>\n

If you want to discover the district, you must go to the Buddhist temples. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Get to 37 rue du Disque <\/strong>and discover the statue of Bodhisattva Guanyin, goddess of compassion. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This temple is dedicated to her.<\/p>\n

Also, visit the Temple de l\u2019Amicale des Teochew<\/strong>, close to the Olympiades mall, which is located 44 rue d\u2019Ivry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will discover the statues of the 18 immortal Law guardians <\/strong>and 3 Buddha statues. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You can also take part in the Chinese New Year’s, every year, early in February. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You will take part in public events, concerts, exhibitions <\/strong>and you will also be able to look at traditional outfits. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Before you go, try Bubble House\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> bubble teas<\/strong> (website in French). <\/em>Bubble tea is a mix of green or black teas with fruits<\/strong> with little tapioca balls. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Discover the Butte-aux-Cailles district<\/a><\/strong>, located in the 13e arrondissement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is a little secluded district, which kept its village style and atmosphere. <\/strong><\/p>\n

You will see charming little houses <\/strong>and paved streets far from Parisian crowds. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Go through the Rue Alphand<\/strong> or the Passage Barrault <\/strong>to see some of the district\u2019s typical alleys and take a walk in the rue Dieulafoy<\/strong>, a very colorful street! <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Butte-aux-Cailles district is also a district well-known for its bars.<\/strong><\/p>\n
