It was renovated and reopened in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The diversity is impressive: tapirs, big cats, reptiles, birds, girafes\u2026 You can also discover rather unknown species in enclosures which intend to replicate their natural living conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The park is divided into 5 biozones: Patagonia, Sahel-Sudan, Europe, Amazon-Guyana and Madagascar.<\/p>\n<p>These biozones allow you to take a trip around the world to discover the fauna and flora and the different ecosystems from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Where is the Paris Zoological Park?<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.france-hotel-guide.com\/fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/zoo-vincennes-alles-vincennes.jpg\" alt=\"Zoo's pathways \" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Credits : Paris Zoological Park<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Paris zoological park Paris zoological park is in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, on the Avenue Daumesnil, next to the Bois de Vincennes.<\/p>\n<p>To get there by metro, take the line 8 and get off at the Porte Dor\u00e9e station (a 7 minutes\u2019 walk away from the park entrance). You can also take the line 1 and get off at the Ch\u00e2teau de Vincennes station. From there, you will have to take the bus 46 (Parc Zoologique station).<\/p>\n<p>To get to the Paris zoological park by bus, take the bus line 46, 86, 201 or 325 (Parc Zoologique station) or line 77 (Porte de Reuilly station).<\/p>\n<p>By tramway, take the line T3 (Porte Dor\u00e9e station).<\/p>\n<p>We advise you against going to the park by car because you will have to pay to park your car near the park. Besides, you will probably waste your time in traffic jams.<\/p>\n<p>If you still want to go by car, here are the different parking lots close to the park:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>parking garage Poniatowsk<\/strong> located at a 15 minute walk away from the entrance which costs \u20ac12 for 3 hours.<br \/>\nThe address: 57 boulevard Poniatowski, 75012 Paris.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>parking public Valmy-Libert\u00e9<\/strong> is 15 minutes away from the zoo entrance and costs \u20ac8 for 4 hours.<br \/>\nThe address: 139 rue de Paris \u00e0 94220 Charenton-le-Pont<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>parking Elit Nation<\/strong> is located 30 minutes away from the park and costs \u20ac3.60 for 2 hours.<br \/>\nThe address: 28 avenue de Saint-Mand\u00e9 \u00e0 75012 Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Visiting the Paris zoo<\/h2>\n<h3>Practical Information<\/h3>\n<h4>Opening hours<\/h4>\n<p>The park is open every day. The animals could be scared by the high number of visitors and decide to hideaway from you. They state the animals\u2019 age, their natural habitat, their diet\u2026 A fun way to learn new things!<\/p>\n<p>Workshops are organized for kids according to their age, they will be asked to solve problems, answer quizzes and participate in mime shows. They allow the animals to develop in their original habitat and they assure their well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Start your visit with the <strong>Madagascar biozone<\/strong>. With its humid tropical forests and dry tropical forest, you may find a great number of colorful birds, lemurs, crowned sifakas, and even sloths.<\/p>\n<p>This biozone is also home to tortoises, frogs and many kinds of fish. You\u2019ll be taking off for Madagascar!<\/p>\n<p>Continue with the <strong>Amazon-Guyana biozone<\/strong>. Manatees, armadillos and different kinds of monkeys will make you feel like you are living in the tropics.<\/p>\n<p>Then, take a quick trip to <strong>Europe<\/strong>. Do you like birds of prey? Come and discover the Griffon vulture or even the Red kite. You might have the opportunity to observe the wolves, the lynxes and the wolverines. The otters in the waterfall will melt your heart!<\/p>\n<p>The visit continues with <strong>Africa<\/strong> and the <strong>biozone dedicated to the Sahel-Sudan<\/strong>. It is the largest one in the park and provides a home to large mammals such as white rhinoceros, Gr\u00e9vy&#8217;s zebras, and lions.<\/p>\n<p>Then end the visit with the <strong>Patagonia biozone<\/strong>. You can admire the stunning scenery and the rich and varied biodiversity: the Andes mountains\u2019 rocky coastlines and the desert plains and steppes.
