On 2 May 1869 the Folies Bergères opened in Paris, a theatre which would see the birth of the first music hall review.
The Folies Bergères is famous the world over, and is one of Paris's most prestigious cabarets, the symbol of the Roaring Twenties!
It became the model for the Music Hall genre, and although other similar cabarets opened, none of them has managed to equal the Folies Bergères.
