The 2-star hotel is ideally located close to Vulcania (European Park of Volcanism) in the heart of the bucolic Auvergne countryside, not far from Riom.
Relais d'Auvergne offers the comfort of a home away from home, cosy rooms equipped with all necessary facilities and traditional, local cuisine. Newly refurbished, each room features its own interior design and they are all soundproofed.

Each room is individually decorated with lovely furniture. They all have satellite TV with English channels.
The hotel is a small building where you will instantly feel at home.
Food & beverage
The breakfast is served in a charming room between 08:00 and 11:00.
The restaurant, entirely renovated in 2005, is open between 12:00 and 14:00 and in the evening between 19:00 and 21:30. The food is regional, country cooking.
Prices vary between EUR 17 and EUR 33. Some set menus, one table d’hôte menu and à la carte menus are available.
Some carefully selected antiques are on sale in our restaurant.
Area information
The hotel is ideally located at Saint Gervais d’Auverge in the heart of the Combrailles region, at the entrance to the Auvergne volcanoes.
There are many discovery tours, so you can visit the many beautiful sites around the hotel such as the Vulcania Park, the Gorge of the Sioule, the Gour of Tazenat, the Fades’ Viaduct and Vichy.
The hotel can also organise a visit to a farm where you will sample many tasty, freshly made cheeses; the perfect way to enjoy our country side.
Travel information
By Car (from the North or the South):
- Take the A71 motorway.
- On the A71 near Combronde, head towards the A89 motorway.
- Take the exit 27 Manzat/Chatelguyon.
- Head towards Manzat and St. Gervais d’Auvergne.
The hotel is a 3 hour and 30 minute drive from Paris and a 4 hour drive from Montpellier (on the motorway). Clermont Ferrand Airport is 45 minutes away.
