It was in 1948 that the Musée d'Art et Histoire du Judaïsme (Museum of the Art and History of Judaism) was founded with as its primary aim that of preserving the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
This museum is situated in the IIIrd arrondissement of Paris, in the Hôtel de Saint-Aignan.
The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme offers an artistic, cultural and ethnographic collection including religious items, stamps and models of synagogues.
