The Chai de la Paleine is located in the south of the Loire, in the Puy Notre Dame, at the foot of the Castle. As a couple or a small family, you will find peace and quiet with a view of an authentic wine stone cabin.
All of our rooms are en suite (shower, toilet and a sink) and have little extras to make your visit as pleasant as possible (tea, coffee and home-made walnuts). Breakfast, an opportunity to meet and share discoveries, is served on large tables or in the fantastic wine barrels. You will taste and savour homegrown and local products. Our homemade jams reflect the riches of the Anjou region. You will find calm and relaxation in our comfortable rest lounges and in our library. A kitchen is also at your disposal and a traditional inn is only 100 metres from our home.

Travel information
From Paris: a11 then a85 exit Saumur. Head in the direction of Poitiers (rn 147) and turn off to Le Puy Notre Dame (d77). In Le Puy Notre Dame, take the second road on the right in the Toutes direction. From Angers: Head in the direction of Brissac-Poitiers (D761). At Doué, take the road to Le Puy Notre Dame. From Rennes: Head in the direction of Saumur. At Doué, take the road to Le Puy Notre Dame.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
