A Few steps from the Arc de triomphe and the Palais des Congrès, the Hotel de Banville, completely renovated, combines today the charm of the 1930's with a resolutely top-of-the-range design.
The materials have been chosen carefully to create bright and cosy spaces... The heart and soul of the living room is expressed around the piano, the chimney and the old paintings.
On Tuesday evening the lobby becomes a reference to lovely notes and hearty moments around the grand piano and the fireplace.
Passionately fond of music and singing, Madame MOREAU, the actual owner of the hotel, programs the evening around jazz and great French Classics, accompanied by her pianist Franck Monbaylet.
Aperitif, Cocktails and snacks are on the menu.
You can have dinner while listening to the music, please reserve your table in advance.
From 6:30 p.m. to 22 p.m. - open to the public.
The corridors and stairway in the Hôtel de Banville opt for simplicity and elegance. In keeping with the 1930s architecture, Parisian stone walls, marble and the highly ornamental black rail are now highlighted by the deep red of the room doors and the linen drapes at the windows. The ultimate detail comes with the unusual floor lighting accentuating the plate glass thresholds that are engraved with the room numbers.
Classic rooms
Each room is a unique picture, a distinctive décor, a galaxy of touches of colour, shapes, reliefs, refined and soft materials.
A yearning for the imaginative and the lovely, witnessing to Marianne Moreau’s inspiration, fills every room.
Superior rooms
Léonor Fini
In the Léonor Fini room, the patined ochres and the original sanguines of the artist hung on the walls bring into relief the neutral tones of the bathroom in slate and white ceramic and thus create a warm atmosphere for this bedroom opening on to the courtyard.
Rosalie
Romance has its place in the Rosalie room where the tone is given by a harmony of pink, beige and golden colours. The mouldings of the mirrors and the aged marble of the bathroom bring out the warm soul and the intimacy of this bedroom in which you will sleep with the windows open when the outside temperature allows.
Théodore de Banville
The magnificent Théodore de Banville room is timeless, the stuff of which dreams are made. Its walls, hung with Jouy linen from Rubelli in a harmony of China blue, promise sweet nights. Old shutters which have been reclaimed and turned into screens separate a bathroom where a corner bath in an alcove and mirrors with a country cottage-style patina take pride of place. A décor with two looks for a room with singular charm.
