INTRODUCTION
Hotel de la Porte Doree is located a few minutes by metro from the downtown tourist path and only a few blocks from the Bois de Vincennes where you can enjoy a morning jog or take the children on a picnic by the lake. From Hotel de la Porte Doree, you can walk to the center of Paris along an old roman viaduct that has been transformed into an elevated garden, “la promenade plantée”, also called “la coulée verte”. If you prefer, you may stay on avenue Damesnil and follow the brick arches of the viaduct that now hold a string of design galleries and workshops called, the “Viaduc des Arts”. The avenue Daumesnil where Hotel de la Porte Doree is located is a typical Parisian street, with its flowers, vegetables and butcher shops. Many buses and subway lines can place you near all the points of Paris in very short order.

The owners Laurent and Christina along with the staff are here to do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one.

This is no ordinary two- star hotel, as the luxurious bedding, free wifi and a host of other amenities are available during your stay.

BREAKFAST
Every morning enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet with croissants and French baguette delivered fresh daily from the famous bakery across the street. Homemade jam, ham, cheese, cereal and fruit are also included. For beverages, you have a choice of fresh coffee, a wide variety of teas, hot chocolate, apple juice and orange juice. Relax, take the time to read a paper or listen to the sounds of Paris as the city comes alive from its nightly repose.

Our double rooms that accommodate either one person or two have mixed beautiful antique furniture in the style of Henry II fused modern comfort. While renovating Hotel de la Porte Doree we have tried to keep the old world charm so you will find old fashion chimneys in some rooms and beautiful old mouldings in others. These rooms are equipped with standard double beds 140/200cen.

Our twin rooms are some of our largest rooms. Equipped with two single beds 90/200 cen. that may be pushed together to make a king size. All twin rooms have bath tubs.
