We are located on Paris' Left Bank, a stone's throw from Mouffetard street, the Pantheon, Saint Germain des Prés and Montparnasse. The 5th district is a natural choice for lovers of the Latin Quarter. It is easy to get to all of the capital city's monuments, including the Louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House and the Senate; we are also near the Sorbonne university, CNRS (national scientific research center), Pierre et Marie Curie University and the Natural History Museum. The hotel was completely renovated in 2009; it is "non-smoking throughout".

LOCATION
Hotel de France is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris, so-called because Latin was still spoken there until 1793. You can enjoy a stroll through the lively streets of rue des Ecoles, Boulevard Saint-Michel and Boulevard Saint-Germain, which will take you to Luxembourg gardens. There are many hidden nooks and crannies to be found throughout the Latin Quarter, on foot. By staying at Hotel de France, you will be immersed in the 'Old Paris', with its fair share of out-of-the-ordinary venues, such as the chapel at Cochin hospital or les Arènes de Lutèce (Lutetia Amphitheater).
