Châtellerault is a small town upon the the river Vienne which is famous for its know-how in cutlery. The doors of Châtellerault's famous cutlery are open for a special visit along the river Vienne. There also are a lot of heritage buildings in Châtellerault, including the famous Henri IVth bridge, which you can discover by following a special track that goes through town. Châtellerault's forest is a very well-suited for trekkers. Once at the lake, you can rejuvenate or perhaps play a game "pétanque".
