Vichy is a famous spa town. The virtues of its water have been known since Roman times. Vichy offers many green spaces, two casinos, two golf courses and is a major racing centre. Vichy is also home to many imperial palaces built under Napoleon III. In Rue de Belgique is the Venetian villa built in 1897. This is a miniature copy of the Ca Giustinian in Venice. The Spa Centre of the Domes of Vichy is located near the Palais des Sources. This is a Moorish style building decorated with superb paintings.
